Our Museum
 

The Little Museum was officially approved during May 1998 in the unused section of the Village Hall, which yet again, was funded by local residents with support from the Ratepayers Association and Conservancy.

 

All the carpentry, display boards and cabinets were made by a few Haga residents and display items were donated by locals as well as individuals such as Dr Carel Olivier that did his Ph.D. thesis on the Xhosa; UNISA; the Albany Museum and the East London Museum

 

The Haga Museum is currently open to everyone and has recently undergone significant metamorphosis to include new displays, exhibits, boards and maps and with it a host of new information has been added. Please pop in and to record your exciting sightings and leave your comments in the book.
